The thing I love most about my work is the point where money intersects with life and it’s many milestones. I’m rigid in a few financial principles, like, spend less than you make. But flexible in methods.
For example, I don’t believe real estate investing vs stock market investing are better or worse than each other. I believe one method may be better or worse for you depending on a lot of other factors like effort and risk appetite.
I was drawn to financial planning after experiencing a major life change in childhood when my parents divorced. Over the last two decades my relationship with money has evolved several times over. It’s a subject I continue to love to explore. I’m married to a techie who challenges me, have two boys under 6 (who also challenge me), two dogs over 50lbs, and help care for my autistic non-verbal niece who is perhaps my greatest teacher.
I love that Tiller designs great frameworks and reports for cash flow management and allows for easy customization.
