Users are currently reporting an outage with Money in Excel (including a few on Tiller’s team). Specifically, some users can’t refresh their bank accounts.
For example, on Reddit, a user writes “I use Money in Excel to analyze my own personal finances. I found it super helpful and was upset to learn of its discontinuation. It seems to already be breaking for me since, as of two weeks ago, I can no longer refresh my bank accounts.”
However, the current issues with Money in Excel do not stem from its upcoming end-of-support in June 2023. When a member of Tiller’s team reached out to Microsoft support, they answered that this is a known issue and a resolution is underway.
We’ll update this post when the Money in Excel outage is resolved.
In 2022, Microsft announced support for Money in Excel would end in June 2023. Microsoft also recommended all Money in Excel users and Microsoft 365 subscribers transition to Tiller’s service.
