Tiller Money Leads Industry with New Support for Open Banking
Tiller Money is the first of Envestnet | Yodlee’s licensees to launch open banking data sharing to provide customers with a secure way to access bank data without having to share usernames and passwords.
Envestnet | Yodlee, a leading data aggregation and analytics platform, makes it possible for Tiller Money customers to grant read-only access to their Citi transactions and balances directly from the Citi website through an application programming interface (API) data exchange.
Now, when Citi account holders give Tiller Money permission to access their data via Citi’s open banking API, this tokenized “handshake” between Envestnet | Yodlee and Citi will provide the most secure and reliable way to access their updated financial data, while giving users full control and transparency over the sharing of their information. Envestnet | Yodlee and Tiller Money plan to roll out open banking access for Tiller Money customers with a number of top banks in the coming months.
